Hearing loud and clear!

To be listed as UNESCO World Heritage, a site must demonstrate its universal, outstanding value. This outstanding universal value is assessed in light of the ten criteria determined by the World Heritage Committee. Sites have to comply with at least one in order to gain World Heritage status. The three criteria chosen to show the outstanding universal value of Mining Basin were all approved by the World Heritage Committee.
